The Library

As old as the palace,  the library includes rare collections of books and international manuscripts in addition to the Royal Family’s private collection. The library contains 33,820 titles and 44,697 books.  It has been divided into two sections: the rare foreign languages collection library and the Arabic library.
The first section encompasses rare collection books, historic maps and manuscripts as well as  a collection of documentary photos of Egypt’s rulers throughout the royal regime. It also  includes some  of the princes’ educational copybooks.  The second section includes a variety of
Arabic books and publications classified in accordance with international standards. Due to the importance of the library’s acquisitions, an automated system has been established for its management.
