As old as the palace,
the library includes rare collections of books and international manuscripts in addition
to the Royal Familys private collection. The library contains 33,820 titles and
44,697 books. It has been divided into two sections: the rare foreign languages
collection library and the Arabic library. |

The
first section encompasses rare collection books, historic maps and manuscripts as well
as a collection of documentary photos of Egypts rulers throughout the royal
regime. It also includes some of the princes educational
copybooks. The second section includes a variety of |

Arabic
books and publications classified in accordance with international standards. Due to the
importance of the librarys acquisitions, an automated system has been established
for its management. |
